Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is hiring a Technician for Advanced Packaging Technology Development (APTD) Operations.

The role focuses on logistics, inventory control, and facility readiness to support wafer moves, events, and PI projects. You will work with Frontend MES systems and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues, raise PR/POs, maintain 6S standards, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent educational background.
• 3+ years of experience in Semiconductor Frontend/Backend Manufacturing, preferably in Project/Process Integration, Project/program Management, Technology Development or Process Engineering role.
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Frontend MES is preferred, as the role involves operating within manufacturing execution systems.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build effective peer relationships.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong customer service skills and a commitment to meeting customer needs.
• Proven ability to work effectively and independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Proven ability to make sound judgments, including calling out issues to PI Engineering when appropriate.
• Basic computer scripting or artificial intelligence (AI) skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• APTD Operations and Logistics Support: Support system logistics for wafer sending and receiving, including raising shipping documents, completing KCR forms, and submitting probe packing requests.
• Conduct regular inventory checks of APTD facilities and materials, including wafers stored in the cleanroom and administrative supplies in the office.
• Support operational facilities readiness across APTD, including the movement and setup of logistics equipment and supplies such as cleanroom shark cages, trolleys, APTD PPE, stationery, and items withdrawn from the warehouse.
• Provide logistics support for events organized by APTD, including the coordination, movement, and setup of required materials and equipment.
• Raise purchase requisitions and purchase orders (PR/PO) in Ariba for required materials, supplies, and services, and follow through on approvals and order status as needed.
• Maintain 6S standards for shark cages, engineering racks, and other assigned APTD operational areas.
• Support engineers by providing the operational, logistics, and facilities assistance required to meet APTD project and program requirements.
