Job Summary

We are seeking a Technician to support the installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and related vehicle electronics. This role involves hands‑on work in assembly, system integration, and diagnostics, working closely with engineering teams to ensure reliable performance of ADAS and autonomous systems. This is a project‑based role that requires travel and the ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

Physically install and assemble ADAS components (e.g., cameras, radar, sensors) onto vehicles according to provided 2D/3D prints, wiring schematics, and work instructions.

Modify vehicle systems to integrate new ADAS hardware and components, adhering to specific torque specifications and assembly techniques.

Perform accurate calibration of vehicle electronics and ADAS systems, such as Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Alert, using specialized tools and software.

Utilize hardware and software tools to diagnose issues within Autonomous Vehicle Systems and related components.

Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and prove out the functionality and performance of ADAS and autonomous control systems.

Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including engineering and other technicians, regarding the performance and integration of advanced electronic and autonomous systems.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Basic Technical Knowledge: Understanding of vehicle electrical systems, wiring, and basic electronic components.
  • Tool Familiarity: Comfortable using standard mechanic tools, hand tools, and willing to learn the use of ADAS diagnostic and calibration equipment.
  • Technical Documentation: Ability to read and follow technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Problem‑Solving: Interest and aptitude in identifying and troubleshooting basic electrical or electronic issues.
  • Teamwork: Able to work well with engineering teams and other technical staff in a collaborative environment.
  • Education/Experience: ITE Certificate or equivalent in Electrical or a related field; some relevant hands‑on experience preferred.
