What You’ll Be Doing

As a Technician, you will assist the Foreman in technical, housekeeping, safety, and administrative tasks, ensuring all service and repair work meets the highest standards set by the company.

Your Responsibilities
  • Perform service and repair work in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and factory repair procedures.
  • Use appropriate factory tools based on vehicle model and ensure compliance with warranty claim procedures.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including high-voltage components.
  • Report parts unavailability and technical issues requiring external support to the Foreman.
  • Document repair work clearly and accurately.
  • Support the Foreman in troubleshooting customer complaints and ensuring “Fix It Right the First Time” outcomes.
  • Clock in/out diligently to maintain accurate productivity, efficiency, and utilisation records.
  • Ensure repair time recording aligns with manufacturer standards.
  • Maintain workshop tidiness, safety, and proper tool/equipment care.
  • Achieve workshop KPIs, including NPS targets.
  • Assist Aftersales Manager, Service Manager, Workshop Executive, Job Controller, Foreman, and Technical Executive with ad hoc tasks.
Qualifications
  • Minimum NTC 2, Nitec in Automotive, or GCE ‘O’ Level with relevant automotive certifications.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Experience with electric vehicles or equipment servicing is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs using diagnostic/special tools.
