Job summary

• Performs welding processes on heavy machinery parts for crane and forklift products.
• Operates welding equipment to join metal components according to specifications.
• Examines workpieces for defects and measures workpieces to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Cuts and shapes metal and other materials using cutting torches, power saws, and hand tools.
• Follows safety procedures and wears protective equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, and welding process specifications in AUTO CAD
• Maintains welding equipment by cleaning, inspecting, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
• Coordinates with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Other ad hoc tasks as assigned
