Job summary

A leading telecommunications company in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a role focused on the maintenance of hydraulic and diesel machineries. Responsibilities include supervising rigging operations and ensuring daily maintenance tasks are performed. Ideal candidates should have a GCE O/A Level or ITE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, teamwork skills, and enjoy hands-on outdoor work.

Qualifications

• At least GCE O/A Level or ITE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Have knowledge of hydraulic and diesel machineries.
• Basic knowledge of welding and metal works.

Responsibilities

• Lead or supervise staff in riggings for cable transfer operations.
• Supervise cable coiling during operations.
• Perform any other works assigned by the Supervisor.

Job description

Overview

Maintain hydraulic, diesel machineries and cable tanks. Perform day to day maintenance activities such as oiling and greasing of machineries. Occasional shift work required.

Responsibilities

• Lead or supervise other staff or laborers in the riggings or re-riggings for the cable transfer operations.
• Supervise cable coiling during cable transfer operations.
• Any other works as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least GCE O/A Level or ITE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Training will be provided.
• Have knowledge of hydraulic and diesel machineries.
• Basic knowledge of welding and metal works.
• A team worker and possess good communications skills.
• Enjoy hands-on manual and outdoor work/operations.
• Able to climb height and lift heavy objects.
