Job summary

A prominent technology firm in Singapore is looking for a technician to install and configure printers and provide technical support to customers. The ideal candidate will have a NITEC/Diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and experience in stock handling. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, servicing products onsite, and maintaining an inventory of toner and spare parts. Description
  • Installing and configuring printers and printing software
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Service printer/copier products onsite
  • Set up new copier machine for installation
  • Repair and maintain copier machine
  • Provide technical support to customers
  • Maintain, order and update inventory for toners and spare parts
  • Monitor and improve stock handling and other procedures
  • Provide training and advise to customers on basic machine maintenance
  • Submit monthly meter reading to billing department
  • Evaluate performance with key metrics (setup time, overhaul quantity etc.) Prepare reports for management
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior
Requirements
  • NITEC / Diploma or equivalent
  • Have valid driving or motor license
  • Preferred with working experience in the related field or similar position Experience in stock handling
  • Proficient in MS Office and Workshop equipment
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive and patient
