Responsibilities
Documentation Management
- Create, maintain, and consolidate technical documentation for release processes, configuration management, and change procedures.
- Write, merge, and consolidate documentation for bids, proposals, and project/client/internal use.
- Maintain and manage project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with client/regulatory standards.
- Proofread and review technical documents for clarity and consistency.
- Develop and maintain planning documentation for milestones and task tracking.
- Oversee document storage, organization, and accessibility.
- Enforce best practices for high-quality documentation and consistency.
Release & Configuration Management
- Oversee version control, ensuring proper tracking, reviewing, and alignment with configurations.
- Manage and track change requests throughout the release cycle.
- Coordinate and facilitate release reviews to ensure validation and testing pre-deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth system release integration and deployment.
- Apply best practices to release management for consistency and efficiency.
Process & Quality Control
- Merge and organize documents to align with release and delivery schedules.
- Ensure documentation aligns with project goals and standards.
- Develop and enforce documentation and release lifecycle standards.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of relevant experience, with a basic understanding of release management, version control, and change management processes.
- Interested in technical documentation, with the ability to assist in creating, merging, and consolidating bid submissions, proposals, and internal documents for management or clients.
- Able to assist in managing project documentation, including planning documents, technical specifications, and other key materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Basic experience in proofreading and refining technical documentation, with attention to clarity, precision, and alignment with project requirements.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Git, SVN, Jenkins, Ansible) and version control systems, able to assist in managing configuration items and document versions.
- Understanding of change management processes, with the ability to help track, document, and manage changes throughout the system development and release lifecycle.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automated build systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of coordinating multiple documentation tasks, version control processes, and release schedules effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring documentation is clear, concise, and aligned with project goals.
- Able to work under pressure and manage concurrent tasks across multiple releases and project documentation efforts while meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with document management and storage systems, ensuring proper organization, versioning, and accessibility of documentation materials.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic about work, eager to learn and develop skills in new areas, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic computer science knowledge, especially in cloud technology stacks.
