Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for an individual to assist in managing art and music resources within a school environment. Responsibilities include supervising students, maintaining art and music rooms, supporting events, and assisting with procurement of materials. Contract duration

12 months contract (16 Jan 2026 to 15 Jan 2027)

Working hours

Mondays to Thursdays: 9:00am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break
Fridays: 9:00am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break

Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays except by special arrangement with off‑in‑lieu provision

Job Scope

Art:

• Assist with procurement, sorting, and disposal of art materials and equipment.
• Maintain and oversee Art rooms, Kiln, Woodwork, Darkroom, and related equipment (e.g., 3D printers, drill press, bend saw).
• Supervise students and invigilate tests when needed.
• Support events like Art exhibitions and SYF Art Festival.
• Assist in photo‑documentation and coordinate repairs/renovation works.

Music:

• Assist with procurement, repair, and maintenance of instruments and resources.
• Maintain music rooms, library, and equipment setup for lessons and exams.
• Supervise students and oversee room security.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent.
• Experience in schools with students, makerspaces, or art/music studios.
• Proficient in MS Office/Excel; strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects concurrently, with initiative and independence.
