Job description

The Role:

• Lead and supervise a team of other Field Application Engineers across Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
• Provide technical support to projects across APAC via email, phone call, video calls and on-site visits (Singapore only).
• Communicate clearly with international customers in verbal and written English and Mandarin languages.
• Work with escalation points with the global Technical Support team to drive the resolution of complex issues.
• Provide technical support and onboarding to Company’s Ecosystem partners, enabling them to effectively utilise the platform and services.
• RMA products investigation for Company’s products across APAC.
• Design, specify and provide smart lighting controls design solution, meeting client expectations and adhering to company standards.
• Collaborate with APAC Sales team to ensure smooth customer journey from Sales team to Design.
• Specify Company’s wireless lighting control solutions to projects in the market.
• Work with global Specification Success team as a regional advocate for specifiers in APAC region.

What Do You Need to Have?

• Candidates must possess either a Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Lighting.
• He/she must possess at least 2 years’ of technical expertise and experience in lighting and lighting controls such as DALI, KNX or DMX is added advantage.
• Proficient in providing hands‑on demonstrations and explaining technical and functional details of lighting control systems.
• Proficient in handling and troubleshooting electrical products.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint.
• Previous lighting or lighting control system project experience from design stage to installation stage. Prior working experience with electrical contractors and system integrators is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to independently multi‑task and prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and technical problem‑solving skills.
