Job summary

BARTEC PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Technical Support Engineer to provide technical and engineering support for electrical safety systems in hazardous areas. You will assist sales during tendering, develop technical designs and documentation, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure BARTEC standards are met.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering, 3–5 years of related experience, and proficient AutoCAD skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years in electrical engineering, proposals or panel design.
• Hands-on in proposals, BOMs and technical quotations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; capable of GA drawings, SLDs, wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of hazardous area classification and explosion protection.
• Able to read customer specs and deliver compliant solutions.
• Good English communication and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, tender specs, drawings and project requirements.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and BOMs per specs.
• Perform component evaluation and select suitable equipment.
• Prepare offers with compliance statements and exclusions.
• Collaborate with Sales and Procurement for pricing and quotations.
• Design Junction Boxes, Power Distribution Boards and control panels.
• Ensure drawings and BOMs are ERP-maintained and compliant.
• Attend customer meetings, site visits and provide technical clarifications.
