Job description

Our client is a leading provider of geospatial and surveying technology solutions. They are seeking a Technical Support Engineer who can deliver high-quality technical support and training to clients while assisting with hardware-related issues both on-site and offsite. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in land surveying and a passion for helping users adopt and troubleshoot advanced surveying technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Client Support & Troubleshooting
  • Provide timely on-site, phone, and online technical support to clients experiencing product or software issues.
  • Diagnose, analyse, and resolve technical problems related to surveying equipment, geospatial tools, and related hardware.
  • Work closely with the workshop/technical department to investigate and resolve hardware issues encountered by clients.
Training & Customer Enablement
  • Conduct product training sessions for clients to ensure proper operation and understanding of surveying and geospatial equipment.
  • Prepare training materials and user guides where needed.
Technical Assistance & Coordination
  • Support internal teams with technical insights, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, or internal specialists to elevate complex technical issues.
Requirements
  • Degree in Land Surveying or relevant discipline.
  • Preferably 1–3 years of relevant experience in land surveying, geospatial technology, technical support, or related fields.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Good communication skills and confidence in engaging with customers.
  • Team player with a positive working attitude, able to work independently when required.
  • Willingness to travel on-site for client support when needed.

Working Location: Kaki Bukit

Working Hours: Mon- Fri 9am- 6pm
