The company is expanding and we are looking for employees to grow with the company.
We are looking for a technical sales supervisor who can determine service needs and perform inspection checks to determine water leakages using specialized equipment. He must be thorough in inspections and accurate in quoting repairs. The technical sales supervisor must be able to communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and co‑workers.
The technical sales supervisor is responsible for coordinating and developing all activities related to the sale of the organization’s products and services within a specific geographical region or area and achieving sales and profitability goals in that region. This includes building and developing high customer service and satisfaction, while also achieving sales goals.
Responsibilities – Technical sales supervisor
- Perform thorough visual on-site inspections for diagnostic of waterproofing issues.
- Draft and provide accurate quotations and follow-ups with potential clients for sales of services.
- Perform integrity testing and troubleshooting testing to identify any breeches or defects in the project’s existing membrane/coatings.
- Determine method of waterproofing for different types of water seepages.
- Exercise professional advice to client when required.
- Conduct analyses to determine pricing and terms of related products and services within the current market, and customer needs and preferences.
- Initiate to resolve potential conflicts / problems at site.
- Plan, execute and review project activities.
- Supervise and coordinate waterproofing works, to ensure smooth operations and supervisory work at the project site.
- Check and monitor waterproofing works by workers to achieve project quality standard.
- Supervise the performance of workers to ensure their job, according to specification.
Other duties
- Ensure all inspection tools, supplies, and equipment are in working order, and arrange for replacements as necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety practices and procedures.
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, including building, trade, fire, and construction codes, as well as company policies.
Position Requirements – Formal Education and Certification
- Diploma or Degree in Building, civil engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
Knowledge & Experience
- Candidates with directly related work experience within waterproofing industry will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of roofing, waterproofing, and coatings material will be advantageous.
- Extensive customer service experience in assessing and fulfilling customer needs.
- Meeting specified standards with respect to products and services.
- Required to work indoors in office setting.
- Required to work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions during site inspections.
- May occasionally come in contact with unpleasant materials during site inspections.
- May occasionally require safety procedures when visiting site inspections at height.
