We are a well-established, 15-years-old start-up based in Singapore, specializing in the manufacturing and supply of precision-crafted specialty chemicals to the Semiconductor fabrication and Advanced Packaging plants in the region. With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and reliability, we are open for a motivated Technical Sales & Applications Engineer to join our growing team and help deepen customer relationships while expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers in the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through proactive outreach and networking.
- Act as an effective primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
- Collaborate with the internal team (R&D, PM, Operations, QC and Supply Chain) to deliver tailored solutions and services.
- Come up with and execute sales strategies, achieving company targets in line with pre-set objectives.
- Manage the full sales cycle including sales presentation, quoting, follow-ups, and post-sales support.
- Obtain and provide market feedback and insights to support product development and strategies.
- Travel to customer sites across Singapore and overseas.
Job Requirements
- Min. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or any relevant engineering field.
- Prior professional experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication or in sales and business development within the similar field.
- Proven track record as technical expert in semiconductor wafer fab processes or in sales within the specialty chemicals industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and creative PowerPoint presentation abilities to effectively interact with customers.
- Able to work independently with a task-based mindset and deliver results under minimal supervision.
- Team player with a proactive and collaborative attitude.
- Apply logical thinking to understand customers’ challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Possess a valid driving license, and preferably owns or has access to a car to conduct sales activities.
