Job summary

A strategic recruitment partner in Singapore is looking for candidates to engage with the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, aviation, and OEM industries. Responsibilities include interpreting customer requirements, understanding industry standards, generating bills of materials, and negotiating sales proposals. Familiarity with material specifications like ASME and previous on-site maintenance experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, aviation, or OEM industries.
• Familiarity with ASME, DIN, JIS and similar material specifications is a plus.
• Previous experience in on-site maintenance or engineering roles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work with a well-established customer base in the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, aviation, and OEM industries.
• Interpret customer requirements.
• Understand industry standards and specifications such as fasteners, flanges, pipes, and metal materials.
• Read customer drawings and generate bills of materials.
• Formulate sales proposals and negotiate directly with end-users to close orders.
• Negotiate procurement of materials, parts, subcontract services, and logistics.
