Technical Recruiter, APAC
About the Opportunity:

We are searching for a Technical Recruiter, APAC with strong experience in recruiting top talent in the Application and AI Development and Data Analytical & Engineering space.

Key Requirements:
  • Developing recruitment strategies: Creating plans to attract qualified employees using various platforms, including niche job boards (like Github or Stack Overflow) and professional networks.
  • Creating job descriptions: Working closely with Account Managers to write detailed and accurate job descriptions that outline specific technical requirements and qualifications.
  • Sourcing, screening & assessing candidates: Conduct initial screening and evaluate the applicant’s technical knowledge and problem solving abilities and submit shortlisted profiles to our Technical Experts for 1st round technical validations.
  • Coordinating the hiring process: Scheduling interviews between candidates and hiring teams, negotiating job offers, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Networking and branding: Representing their company at career fairs, industry conferences, and online tech communities to build a talent pipeline and enhance employer brand.
  • Artificial Intelligence: Able to leverage AI to perform create compelling job descriptions and narrowing down target specific skillsets.
Essential Skillsets:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Tech Consultancy and/or Recruitment Agency environment, with a proven track record in managing high volume and successfully closing contract-based roles.
  • Proven track record in sucessfully hiring regional tech roles in Singapore, Thailand, Philippines & Australia.
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess strong technical acumen to understand how various programming languages, frameworks and technologies integrate and complement one another.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills for writing job descriptions, conducting 1st level screening, and acting as a liaison between candidates and Account Manager.
  • Networking and Relationship Building: The ability to build a vast network of contacts and maintain relationships with potential candidates, which is crucial for finding top talent in a competitive market.
  • Critical Thinking and Analytical Skills: The ability to evaluate candidate information and make informed, unbiased decisions based on specific job requirements, cultural fit and motivation looking for a change.
  • Proficiency with Tools: Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM software, and sourcing platforms, LinkedIN, Github, Stack Overflow.
