Job summary

Google Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners across the company.

You will coordinate with executives and engineers to explain analyses and tradeoffs, drive delivery, and ensure availability for data center network deployments at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with process improvement in the telecom or data center networking space.

• Manage network infrastructure capacity delivery programs.
• Solve technical issues involving network port capacity, physical cabling installation, network equipment capacity, project scheduling and logistics.
• Bring technical experts together to communicate and help develop solutions.
• Manage and nurture relationships between cross-functional teams, including external parties and vendors.
• Identify process and communications breakdowns, while developing and driving solutions to remedy the issues. Manage process development and optimization initiatives. Create and maintain master schedules, Bill of Materials (BoMs) and related factors.

In this role, you will be at the hub of multiple technical teams responsible for ambitious deployments and unparalleled availability.

• Experience working in complex organizational settings (e.g., shared accountability, geographic dispersion, ambiguity, Program Management Office (PMO), etc.).
• Familiarity with data center, networking, or telecom.
• Strong foundational knowledge in data networking architectures and physical network components.
