A leading electricity provider in Singapore is seeking a dedicated technician to manage and maintain EV charging stations. The role involves coordinating maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and liaising with contractors and customers. Candidates must possess a diploma in Electrical Engineering and have strong analytical skills. Flexibility for odd hours is required, and having personal transportation is preferred.
Plan and coordinate the maintenance of EV charging stations with the contractors.
Carry out maintenance of EV chargers for certain EV charging station / battery charger swap station models.
Attending to customers’ enquiries and coordinating with landlords before the commencement of maintenance work.
Ensure records are filed properly and data are updated promptly in system. Prepare and collate information for monthly reports.
Performing backend monitoring of the EV charging stations network using the Charging Station Management System and to carry out basic diagnostic of issues.
Responding to and troubleshooting issues/interruptions related to EV charging station hardware/firmware.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. Engineering, Customer Operations) to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain an inventory of tools, spare parts and maintenance equipment, ensuring availability for site work.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements (e.g. to maintenance procedures, reporting workflows, etc.).
Assist in evaluating contractor performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Perform standby duty during and after office hours for network incidents and special events.
Any other duties and responsibilities related to the job scope.
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from any of the recognised Polytechnics in Singapore.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, able to interpret technical data and logs from charging systems.
Good interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with contractors, customers, and internal teams.
Able to work on odd timings upon activation, ad-hoc tasks beyond work scope and public holidays and weekends if necessary.
Prefer candidate with own transportation for travelling to sites.
