Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Technical Officer for Facilities Building Management. The candidate will perform inspections, supervise maintenance contracts, and assist in operations of Mechanical and Electrical Systems. Preferred qualifications include a Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and relevant experience. A good understanding of ACMV systems is necessary, alongside strong communication skills. The role involves rotating shifts and may include weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience or higher for candidates with more experience.
• Candidates with FSM, GMM, SCEM, or CERT trained are preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of ACMV systems is critical.

Responsibilities

Technical Officer (Facilities Building Management)

Job

• Station on-site and perform daily inspection and preventive maintenance worksin Mechanical and Electrical Systems according to Scheduled Maintenance inassigned buildings
• Attend to feedback, Breakdown and customer service requests, Fault-Calls andcarry out fault rectification within specified time and budget
• Supervise and co-ordinate with contractors and vendors on works according toscheduled maintenance, repair, shut-down and overhaul works
• Assist Manager to keep records of Mechanical and Electrical system servicingreports and monitor the performance of the systems and equipment
• Assist Manager in day to day operation of the Mechanical and Electrical Systems
• Develop and sustain good working relationship with all levels of people

Requirement

• Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or other relevant FacilityBuilding qualification (min 3 years). Candidates with more relevant experiencewill be considered for more senior positions.
• Candidates with FSM, GMM, SCEM or CERT Trained has an advantage
• Must have with sound hands on knowledge of ACMV system
• Candidates with Fire Protection, BAS, Plumbing, Sanitary and/or HT/LT knowledgewill be favourably considered
• Hands on knowledge on operation and maintenance of Mechanical and Electricalsystems
• Proficient in MS office application
• Team player with good communication and coordination skills
• Willing to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
