Representing Systems OEMS worldwide, we provide services such as program/project management, system engineering and maintenance support to our customers.

We are searching for a Technical Officer to be part of our diverse team here in Glamco. Our Technical Officers are key component of our operations by providing technical support, installation, testing and maintenance activities (preventive and corrective) for Glamco provided systems in Singapore.

Candidates must show initiative, highly independent, hands‑on, aspiration for increase role and responsibilities, and a demonstrated willingness to work in a team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide daily onsite or remote technical support (1st line and 2nd level) on CUAS, drone systems, computer systems, communication equipment, radar or radio frequency equipment, networking, hardware and software systems.
  • Provide 1st line response to faults / activation raised by clients including troubleshooting and recovery.
  • Responsible for the proper maintenance (Preventive and Corrective) of systems assigned by the Customer Support Lead / Project Managers including maintaining all relevant written records.
  • Perform project related activities such as deployment, installation, configuration, testing of systems to support the project.
  • Perform CUAS and UAS testing and operations.
  • Perform troubleshooting, predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment and systems are operational including fault troubleshooting, rectification and testing supported by Technical Team.
  • Identify, plan and initiate required actions to maintain the systems for long term reliability, operational efficiency and improve maintainability.
  • Prepare technical specifications for equipment services, system services, contract labor and ad‑hoc maintenance services. Supervise and report performance of contractors to ensure good quality and progress of maintenance works, as well as full compliance with contract specifications.
  • Assist in the managing and controlling of both Glamco and maintenance equipment and spares.
  • Liaise, supervise and coordinate with contractors and vendors on projects, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs works.
  • Support Technical Team in investigation, analyse and determine the root cause of system defects.
  • Support Technical Team in providing expertise for new programs and system.
  • Ensure project and maintenance SLA (Service Level Agreement) and customer satisfaction levels are met.
  • Any other technical or operations related duties that may be required allocated by Customer Support Lead / Project Managers.
  • Potentially perform rotating shift (12 hours) duties in the future.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering Electronics, Communication Engineering or related field.
  • Certification in 7 Kg UAPL would be advantageous.
  • Past drone flying experience will be a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in the related field above.
  • May be required to work on rotating shifts (in the future), weekends and overtime.
  • Willing to work at multiple sites (outdoor environment).
  • Must possess Class 3 Manual driving licence.
Technical Skills

  • Knowledge on IT system and maintenance including computer servers, workstations, network switches and firewall troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge on Firewall, Backup solution, 2FA solution and Anti‑Virus solution.
  • Knowledge on OT system and maintenance in Radar or Radio Frequency (RF) technologies is a real plus.
