Job description
Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate techno-commercial activities independently to ensure smooth business operations, under department supervision.
  • Manage technical requirements, troubleshooting, inventory audits, inspections, and client communications.
  • Oversee projects and service tasks including proposal development and on-site activities.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to support business growth in after-sales, projects, and supervisory services.
  • Available for frequent travel and site work across multiple locations.
  • Support service teams in quote preparation, technical discussions, and coordination with equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
Service Support Responsibilities
  • Lead after-sales operations involving clients, vendors, manufacturers, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage commercial aspects within the service group to ensure smooth transaction flow.
  • Support day-to-day service activities such as quoting, purchase order management, and technical-commercial negotiations.
  • Facilitate technical coordination and troubleshooting between clients and manufacturers.
  • Maintain technical documentation, maintenance records, and spare parts inventories.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams on planning and execution.
  • Foster communication and relationships with clients, procurement, and other key contacts.
  • Conduct site visits for maintenance shutdowns or technical discussions.
Business Development Duties
  • Lead business promotion through marketing initiatives and client engagement.
  • Organize sales efforts including client meetings, service presentations, and follow-ups.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop service offerings, obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Handle commercial functions such as billing, invoicing, contract negotiation, taxation, insurance, and compliance.
  • Assist in preparing periodic reports on technical services for management review.
  • Provide technical training and knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 12 to 17 years of comprehensive industry experience
  • 8 to 10 years focused on maintenance within chemical processing facilities
  • Minimum 5 years of specialized experience in the design and management of rotary equipment
  • Extensive expertise in maintenance operations, including spare parts management, shutdown coordination, troubleshooting, equipment design, and vendor liaison related to rotary machinery
  • Well-versed in reliability-centered maintenance principles, shutdown planning, and advanced troubleshooting techniques
  • Fundamental knowledge of chemical plant processes and construction practices
  • Proven track record in leading maintenance teams and managing projects effectively
  • Experience working in diverse, multinational work environments
  • Willingness to travel internationally and conduct regular site inspections
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional and approachable attitude
