Job description

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of backend systems, including operations, maintenance, and performance.
• Prepare progress reports, project documentation, and assist in project scheduling.
• Coordinate backend activities with stakeholders, vendors, frontend teams to resolve technical issues.
• Manage backend-related documentation, IT resources and project policies.
• Support change implementations: system patching, upgrades, configuration changes, and enhancements.
• Handle service requests and IT security issues, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Assist in incident and problem management processes, including escalations from Level 1 engineers.
• Administer and configure AWS cloud environments; deploy and manage cloud-based workloads securely.
• Support operational systems reliability and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) adherence.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and operational tasks effectively and on schedule.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to maintain system reliability and availability.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of backend architecture, system operations and cloud-based workloads.
• Hands-on experience with system maintenance, incident management, and IT security compliance.
• Familiarity with Windows-based and Linux-based systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive & customer-oriented.
• 5 years of AWS cloud experience.
• Degree or equivalent technical knowledge and expertise
• Willingness to take up technical leadership role.
• AWS Cloud Certification is a plus
