Job summary

A leading maritime recruitment firm in Singapore seeks a Technical Executive (Ship Management) to effectively manage vessels and ensure compliance with operational standards. This role involves liaising with clients, managing day-to-day fleet operations, and executing dry-docking activities. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Maritime studies, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Mandarin to communicate with clients. Job description
  • Position: Technical Executive (Ship Management)
  • Location: Raffles / Hybrid WFH
  • Working hours: 5 Days Work Week - Monday to Friday, 8.30AM to 4.30PM
  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5,500 + Mid Year Bonus + 3 Months Year End Bonus + 14-26 Days Annual Leave + Medical Benefits + Mobile Claims

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients to ensure all vessels consistently meet operational and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with Operations, Accounts, and appointed Ship Managers to support the day-to-day management of the fleet.
  • Plan, manage, and execute vessel dry-docking activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Monitor vessel and equipment maintenance to ensure compliance with applicable marine regulations, class rules, and statutory requirements.
  • Provide technical and operational advice to support management’s decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support safe operations by ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, and best industry practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Maritime or related qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ship management, vessel operations, or a related maritime role.
  • Willing to be on standby 24/7
  • Trade operations experience is an advantage
  • Candidates needs to have mandarin language proficiency to communicate with Mandarin speaking customers
  • Willing to travel when required
