Responsibilities & Duties
Pre-Sales Technical Leadership
- Collaborate with APAC sales and customer success teams to engage prospective customers, articulate the value of Rafay’s Kubernetes Operations Platform, and highlight its GPU PaaS and AI/ML integration features.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations, live demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) showcasing Rafay’s platform capabilities for AI/ML workloads, GPU-accelerated computing, and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Understand customer requirements for specific use cases, such as AI/ML model training, inference, or GPU-intensive applications, and design tailored architectures leveraging Rafay’s platform.
- Address technical objections by developing strategies with sales and customer success teams, emphasizing the platform’s strengths in GPU PaaS and AI/ML environments.
- Lead technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and customer inquiries, ensuring alignment with Rafay’s platform capabilities and customer needs
Solution Architecture and Implementation
- Architect and oversee the deployment of Rafay’s Kubernetes Operations Platform, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for customer environments, including public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP), private clouds, and hybrid setups.
- Collaborate with customers’ developers, SREs, and DevOps teams to integrate Rafay’s platform with existing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm), and
- Provide hands‑on expertise during implementation, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for GPU‑accelerated computing and AI/ML use cases.
- Advocate for GitOps, zero‑trust security models, and best practices to streamline customer workflows and enhance platform adoption.
Post‑Sales Delivery and Customer Success
- Oversee end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring deployments are completed on time, within scope, and to customer satisfaction, particularly for AI/ML and GPU‑intensive workloads.
- Act as the technical point of contact for prospective and existing customers, offering expertise and troubleshooting in GPU‑accelerated computing and AI/ML environments.
- Provide ongoing guidance to customers on optimizing their use of Rafay’s platform for AI/ML workflows, GPU applications, and cloud‑native infrastructure.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill customer teams on Rafay’s platform, focusing on GPU PaaS and AI/ML capabilities.
Regional Technical Leadership
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for APAC customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, building strong relationships through education, presentations, and technical expertise.
- Build and mentor a high‑performing APAC technical team, including pre‑sales engineers, solution architects, and delivery specialists, to support Rafay’s growth in the region.
- Represent Rafay at trade shows, conferences, meetups, and local events, crafting and delivering technical content focused on GPU PaaS, AI/ML use cases, and cloud‑native technologies.
- Monitor regional market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI‑driven operations, edge computing) to inform Rafay’s APAC strategy, relationships.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration and Advocacy
- Collaborate with Rafay’s product management, development, marketing, design, and engineering teams to communicate customer technical requirements, particularly those related to GPU PaaS and AI/ML, and advocate for these needs in the product roadmap.
- Partner with marketing to create APAC‑specific technical content, including whitepapers, case studies, and blogs, highlighting Rafay’s platform strengths in AI/ML and GPU‑accelerated computing.
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., service mesh, serverless, AIOps) within Rafay’s platform to address evolving customer needs.
- Ensure alignment with global technical standards and processes while adapting to APAC‑specific requirements.
