Job summary

ACP Metal Finishing Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Chemical Process Technician to support production, quality control and process improvement. You will perform periodic tests, verify plant equipment, manage test panels and consumables, and assist with trial samples and drafting of technical documents.

CAD reading is a desirable skill. Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Process Technology is required, with 0–2 years in chemical engineering or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic tests including maintenance, issuing test panels, and recording results.
• Verify plant equipment such as temperature controllers and timers.
• Manage inventory of test panels and consumables with stock checks and labeling.
• Perform chemical analysis for production baths when required.
• Assist in running trial samples for existing and new customers.
• Assist with drafting and amendment of technical documents.
• Assist with other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Technical Manager.

• Manage inventory of test panels and consumables, including stock checks, ordering, and serial number engraving / labelling.
• Perform chemical analysis for the production baths when required.
• Assist in running trial samples for existing and new customers.
• Assist in drafting and amendment of technical documents.
• Assist with other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Technical Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Process Technology
• 0-2 years in chemical engineering or related fields.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD skills are highly desirable
