Technical Advisory Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cyber Security Consultant based in Singapore. The Cyber Security Consultant will be responsible for conducting security assessments, managing vulnerabilities, and implementing security solutions to protect applications, networks, and information systems. The role includes evaluating and fortifying cybersecurity frameworks, advising on best practices, and addressing security risks effectively. Collaboration with clients to ensure tailored security strategies will also be a key part of the role.

Including:

  • Engage with prospects and clients to understand their security requirements, pain points, and technical environments.
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
  • Design and propose cybersecurity solutions, architectures, and integration plans.
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical questionnaires with accurate and compelling documentation.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop strategies and contribute to closing deals.
  • Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) /Proof of Value (PoVs) and pilot deployments.
  • Lead the onboarding and implementation of cybersecurity solutions post-purchase.
  • Provide technical support during deployment and configuration.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and product training for clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and product utilization.
  • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with support or development teams for resolution.
  • Gather client feedback and contribute to product or service improvements.
Qualifications
  • Expertise in Cybersecurity and Information Security practices
  • Knowledge of Application Security to safeguard software systems
  • Experience with Network Security to protect data and communication channels
  • Proficiency in conducting Vulnerability Assessments and implementing appropriate mitigation measures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and consulting abilities
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus
