Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Tech Risk & Controls Lead to mitigate technology risks and drive operational excellence within Cybersecurity & Tech Controls (CTC). You will oversee risk and compliance across major Global Technology programs, guide AI-enabled process automation, and provide expert risk guidance to regional CTC teams.

You will partner with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions, perform root-cause analysis, and strengthen controls to reduce risk across the firm’s technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS, cybersecurity, data science, or related field.
• 5+ years in technology risk, information security, or related area.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with root‑cause analysis experience.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to execution of critical components within Global Technology programs to meet CTC risk objectives.
• Lead design and development of AI-driven use cases to streamline workflows and boost team productivity.
• Perform data‑driven assessments to support risk mitigation and root‑cause analyses.

Join our team to play a pivotal role in mitigating tech risks and upholding operational excellence, driving innovation in risk management.

As a Tech Risk & Controls Lead in Cybersecurity & Tech Controls (CTC), you will be responsible for identifying, and mitigating compliance and operational risks in line with the firm's standards. A key focus will be supporting significant Global Technology programs by providing dedicated oversight to ensure these programs are executed effectively and CTC objectives are met. You will also drive the development and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-related use cases to automate processes and enhance operational efficiency for the team’s work within these programs. As a technical subject matter expert, you will provide guidance and support for the development of AI use cases across other CTC teams in the region. Leveraging your advanced knowledge of risk management principles and practices, you will partner with key stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions and drive the execution of CTC initiatives, with a focus on reducing risk in the firm’s operations across the region.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust relationships, becoming a trusted partner with LOB technologists, assessments teams, and data officers to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and progress toward shared goals

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines
• 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technology risk management, information security, or related field, emphasizing risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of identifying issues, performing root cause analysis, and developing effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in log analysis and investigation, with hands-on experience using SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, or similar platforms).

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience in Cybersecurity Operations or Engineering roles is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, or implement AI or machine learning solutions, particularly in the context of process automation to reduce manual effort.
