Job summary

Astek in Singapore is seeking a Technical Lead with 5+ years of software engineering experience and prior team leadership to drive frontend, backend and cloud initiatives. You will guide the design and delivery of scalable digital platforms across React.js, TypeScript, Node.js and PostgreSQL, with AWS deployment and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with experience leading a small engineering team

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team in the design, development and delivery of a cloud-based digital platform
• Design secure REST APIs and integration patterns to support internal modules and future external integrations
• Translate solution architecture into implementable frontend, backend, API, database and deployment designs
• Work with the Infrastructure Team to deploy applications into AWS environments
• Familiar with configuration and maintain application-level CI/CD pipelines, build processes, deployment scripts and environment-specific configurations
• Act as the team’s Security Champion by embedding secure coding, code review, SAST and vulnerability remediation into the sprint process
• Coordinate remediation of security findings from code scanning, DAST and formal VAPT reports
