🧠 About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Consultant with strong expertise in Bill of Materials (BOM) management, particularly localization and regional BOMs. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business adoption, leading cross-functional collaboration, and supporting the rollout of new PLM capabilities within Teamcenter and related systems.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a functional lead for Teamcenter PLM initiatives, focusing on BOM localization and regional BOM solutions.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure effective BOM management and alignment across multiple systems.
- Gather and analyze business and functional requirements, and translate them into detailed documentation.
- Drive adoption and process standardization of the Teamcenter BOM solution within the organization.
- Train and support local teams and end-users in using new PLM functionalities.
- Provide handholding support post-deployment to ensure smooth transition and user confidence.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, Product Lifecycle Management) to align PLM processes with business needs.
- Identify and recommend improvements to existing PLM workflows and coordinate implementation approvals.
- Ensure that solutions are aligned with corporate PLM strategies and best practices.
🧩 Requirements
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong expertise in Teamcenter PLM, especially BOM management, localization, and regional BOMs.
- Good understanding of Teamcenter modules and how they integrate across the PLM landscape.
- Experience working with multiple enterprise systems supporting PLM (e.g., ERP, CAD integrations).
- Ability to write detailed functional requirement documents and collaborate with development/configuration teams.
- Proven experience leading business adoption of PLM solutions.

🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with Teamcenter PLM.
- Prior experience in BOM management projects is required.
- Knowledge of manufacturing or product lifecycle processes is highly preferred.
🚀 Nice to Have
- Experience with Teamcenter customization, workflow configuration, or data migration.
- Understanding of integration between PLM and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Certification or formal training in Teamcenter PLM or PLM project management.
