Brief Summary:

Join a dynamic team as a Team Leader responsible for the efficient management of a sludge treatment plant. Your leadership will ensure optimal operations while prioritizing safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the sludge treatment plant to maintain safe and efficient processing.
  • Supervise and motivate Shift Technicians to maximize the treatment quantity of DWS and DS safely.
  • Ensure sludge transfer pumps are operational, ready for use, and maintaining checklists for daily equipment maintenance.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and staff performance.
  • Monitor compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, offering briefings to staff as necessary.
  • Re-educate Shift Technicians and Operators on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Risk Assessments at least twice a year or upon implementation of new protocols.
  • Compile and review daily and monthly operational reports, detailing materials processed and consumption metrics.
  • Report any operational abnormalities or equipment issues to management promptly.
  • Follow schedules for maintenance shutdowns to minimize downtime effectively.
  • Assist management in conducting risk assessments and developing SOPs for new activities at the plant.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing among staff to drive improvements in production, minimize downtime, and decrease utility consumption.
  • Enforce safety policies and personal protective equipment requirements consistently.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards related to waste handling, sludge disposal, and environmental discharge limits.
  • Document operational data, plant performance metrics, and equipment status while preparing regular reports for management.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and propose actionable improvements.
