An English enrichment centre in Singapore seeks a candidate for a leadership role focusing on curriculum management and teacher development. The ideal candidate will possess a degree plus teaching qualification, significant teaching experience, especially in primary schools, and a background in education management. Responsibilities include overseeing curriculum design, training teachers, and teaching classes as needed.

Curriculum Management
Contribute to curriculum design and development or improvements to curriculum for Singapore and other markets.
Develop English curriculum content for primary students attending classes at I Can Read centres offering our English Primary curriculum.
Review and revise curriculum content according to the Singapore English syllabus changes.
Professional Development
Work with PD team to manage academic team members' performance through goal setting, regular feedback, appraisal, mentoring and counselling.
Implement blended training in Singapore and other markets.
Work with Operations, Academic Operations and HR to ensure teachers are hired based on the minimum competency framework established and trained on time.
Educate teachers to liaise with parents on teaching and curriculum matters.
Support teachers in monitoring, assessing and documenting the student's learning progress and outcomes.
Team Management
Manage the teachers to facilitate teamwork and academic team members' (if any) career development and growth.
Provide mentorship and counselling for teachers, academic team members and teachers when required.
Conduct workshops to improve the academic team's and teachers' knowledge and skills.
Work with senior management to prepare the annual business plan and budget for the Primary English Department.
Teaching and Social Media
Teach Primary English Programme classes to ensure curriculum is viable and suitable.
Support social media initiatives (including live sessions on Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
A degree plus teaching qualification (or equivalent)
Higher degree or recognised professional qualification (preferred)
Evidence of continued relevant professional development
Strong foundation in Singapore English curriculum for primary schools
Experience in teaching at MOE primary schools (preferred)
Min 5 years of relevant working experience with recent years in a leadership capacity
Experience in using technology in teaching and learning
Experience in education management and curriculum design and development
