Job Overview

This position combines weekend literacy teaching with weekday programme coordination and administrative responsibilities.
You will conduct phonics and early literacy classes for young children, and support programme operations that serve community partners and beneficiaries.

Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
Weekend Teaching
  • Conduct phonics and early literacy classes for children aged 18 months to 8 years.
  • Follow structured, research-based teaching methods.
  • Prepare age-appropriate learning activities and materials.
  • Support class administration and parent communication.
Weekday Programme & Administrative Support
  • Coordinate programme activities, events, and sessions.
  • Liaise with volunteers, community partners, and internal teams.
  • Support scheduling, attendance tracking, and documentation.
  • Maintain programme records and assist with basic reporting.
  • Handle general administrative duties as required.
Work Schedule
  • Monday: 9:30am – 6:30pm
  • Tuesday: 9:30am – 6:30pm
  • Wednesday: Work From Home
  • Thursday: Off
  • Friday: 9:45am – 6:45pm
  • Saturday: Off
  • Sunday: 8:30am – 7:00pm

Rest Days: Thursday and Saturday

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in any field.
  • Experience in teaching, tutoring, facilitation, volunteering, or community programmes is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills; lessons are conducted in English.
  • Comfortable working with children and engaging multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Able to use Zoom, Google Workspace, and basic digital tools.
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and confident interacting with parents, volunteers, and partners.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided.
