Job summary

A local educational service provider in Singapore is seeking a candidate to assist in preparing teaching resources, ensuring student safety during events, and supporting administrative tasks for the Science Department. The ideal candidate will be involved in various duties to support teachers and department heads in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assisting HOD and teachers to prepare teaching and learning resources.
• Assisting Science Department in the upkeeping of Science labs.
• Perform morning patrolling and dismissal time duties for student safety.
• Perform Optical Answer Sheet scanning for students’ assessments.
• Assist in administrative work for HOD and teachers.
• Supervise students attending enrichment programmes for safety.
• Accompany CCA teachers during trainings and competitions.

Job description

The Services required are set out as follows:

Responsibilities

• Assisting HOD and teachers to prepare teaching and learning resources
• Assisting Science Department in the upkeeping of Science labs, preparation of materials for experiments and management of stores
• Perform morning patrolling, recess time and dismissal time duties to ensure safety of students
• Perform Optical Answer Sheet (OAS) scanning for students’ assessments
• Assisting HOD and teachers in administrative work
• Assisting teachers to supervise students attending enrichment programmes / learning journeys for safety reasons
• Accompanying and assisting CCA teachers during trainings, performances and Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) / other competitions as and when required
• Any other duties as assigned by the teachers, Heads of Department, Admin Manager, Vice Principals and Principal
