Job summary

GREENSAFE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. seeks a diligent Science Resource Assistant to prepare, organise, and distribute teaching resources before lessons, and to set up equipment for activities and experiments.

You will prepare student experiment kits, assist with inquiry-based learning, and support school events while maintaining safety and order in the resource areas. At least a GCE O-level and 1 year of relevant experience are required; proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.

Qualifications

• At least GCE 'O' level.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in IT skills (Microsoft Office).

Job description

Hours: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm

Key Roles

• Prepare, organise, and distribute Science teaching resources before lessons
• Set up equipment and consumables for activities/experiments
• Prepare student experiment kits and ensure sufficient materials
• Assist in preparing resources for inquiry-based learning, enrichment, and school events
• Clear away, clean, and store equipment after lessons
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety of the resource room, prep room, and storage areas
• Conduct regular inventory checks of equipment, apparatus, and consumables
• Monitor stock levels and assist in procurement/replenishment
• Report damaged/faulty equipment and coordinate repairs/replacements
• Prepare lesson materials and provide logistical support for lessons/programmes
• Track student attendance and manage resource/equipment loans
• Handle lost-and-found items; sort, file, and collate worksheets
• Perform general admin duties (binding, laminating, photocopying, shredding, verifying documents, maintaining records)
• Provide logistical support for Science-related programmes and events
• Support General Office counter duties, public enquiries, and sick bay duties
• Perform other assigned duties
