• Understand the business requirements.
• Develop, review and update project plans, resources, budgets and timeframes.
• Drive the data, design and solution discussions with vendor, technology team and user groups.
• Directly lead and manage a team of technical teams comprising developers, technical analysts with a focus on delivering banking stakeholder and relationship management, including escalation, expectation, conflict, scope changes, systems and solutions.
• Responsible for the successful execution and technical delivery of projects that meet scope, timeline, and budget, with stakeholder and relationship management, including escalation, expectation, conflict, scope changes.
• Partner with solution and enterprise architects to deliver technical innovations in support of emerging business needs and to progress these ideas from concepts to working solutions.
• Plan project efforts to upgrade, enhance and maintain systems at supported release levels.
• Identify and raise risks and issues affecting the project, including financial or operational, and proactively managing them, with timely escalation to relevant parties where necessary.
• Drive the testing strategy and manage the testing cycles, ensuring all critical and high defects are resolved within the testing cycle.
• Manage relationships across all business lines and with external parties, ensuring timely delivery of assigned activities. Organise and chair governance meetings, including preparation of meeting materials and minutes.
• Ensure work deliverables are following bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Directs the offshore squad in making day-to-day decisions and conflict resolution.
• Comply with SDM artefacts required for project in time and pass audit standard required including signed off and mandatory documents indicated in SDM guide.
• Arrange stakeholder meeting and report status of project independently via Weekly/bi-weekly, monthly report status to Jira/Confluence/PPT to PWG, L3/L2/ Project governance on time.
• Manage finance tracking for the projects, manage administrative tasks associated with the project including ensuring all costs are within budget approved and aligned with internal guide provided by Group Finance.
• Manage project delivery with each work stream lead in a multi-stakeholder environment that includes multiple technical teams, multiple business units, and local participants.
• Provide full cover to program/project lead to support additional tasks required as part of portfolio governance.
• Maintain risk/dependency/issues and escalation to governance to ensure timeline resolution.
• Perform other admin required as part of budget, Manager, program management office to support project activities in phases (e.g. ITC deck, notation, forms, PPM resource tracking, etc.).
