Job summary

You will engage with tax authorities, relief at source procedures, and reclaim processes while learning our market practices.The internship lasts 6 months and offers exposure to financial services tax operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equity/fixed income assets and custody services is advantageous.
• Pro-active, eager to learn and propose improvements.
• Able to work under pressure with strong organization and prioritization.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely collection and notification of tax information on income payments.
• Handle tax relief certifications from customers.
• Check correctness and monitor sending of tax certifications.
• Reconcile tax instructions with depositories.
• Prepare tax reporting with authorities and auditors.
• Support continuous improvement of internal processes and projects.
