Job summary

COMPLETE CORPORATE SERVICES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager/Manager to lead a tax team and manage a diverse client portfolio. You will deliver corporate tax compliance and advisory services, including incentives, personal tax, withholding tax, and residency certificates, while ensuring adherence to IRAS standards.

You may base in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, or Malacca and must demonstrate strong technical tax skills, leadership and directorship potential for growth within the firm.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent).
• At least 7 years for Senior Manager or 5 years for Manager with Singapore tax experience.
• SCTP qualification is an advantage.
• Experience with large/mid-tier international accounting firms.
• Directorship potential is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of tax professionals and manage a portfolio of Singapore tax clients.
• Oversee tax returns and detailed tax computations for clients.
• Prepare client advice and review junior work for Singapore tax compliance.
• Respond to ad-hoc queries from IRAS.

About the role

You will have the opportunity to help shape, influence and drive the business through business transformation. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of Singapore incorporated clients in corporate tax and multi-skill in at least one functional area such as GST, transfer pricing, private wealth or M&A. You may choose to be based in either Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, or Malacca.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of tax professionals and manage a portfolio of Singapore tax clients rendering compliance and advisory services relating to Corporate Tax, Incentives and grants, Personal Tax, Withholding Tax, Certificate of Residency, and other relevant areas of taxation
• Oversee tax returns and detailed tax computations for clients.
• Preparation of advice requested by clients and undertake review of work done by junior team members to ensure consistency with the Singapore Tax rules, regulations, the practice and requirements of the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (the 'IRAS').
• Attending to ad-hoc queries raised by IRAS and ad-hoc assignments

Requirements

• Candidates must have directorship potential
• A recognized degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, Australia or equivalent
• At least 7 years for Senior Manager and 5 years for Manager with experience in Singapore tax
• Singapore Certified Tax Professional (SCTP) professional qualification is an advantage
• Experience in shipping industry assignments is an advantage
• Relevant experience with large/mid-tier international accounting firms
• Strong technical skills
