About the Role:We're seeking a highly experienced Regional Tax Manager to oversee and drive the tax strategy and compliance for our client's Asia operations. This critical role will be responsible for ensuring tax efficiency, managing tax risks, and driving business growth through expert tax planning and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tax strategies and policies for Asia entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate guidelines.
  • Manage tax planning and structuring for Asia operations, including tax incentives and optimization opportunities.
  • Provide tax advice and support for cross-border transactions, M&A, investments, and divestments.
  • Lead transfer pricing activities, including documentation, reporting, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Ensure timely tax compliance and reporting for Asia entities, including Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) obligations.
  • Collaborate with finance teams and tax authorities to resolve tax audits and disputes.
  • Stay updated on Asia tax developments and provide insights to drive business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Tax Law, or Tax Economics
  • 7+ years of experience in international tax, with at least 5 years in a Big 4 accounting firm
  • Strong technical knowledge of international tax and transfer pricing
  • Experience with cross-border taxation and business structuring in Asia
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
