Job summary

OCBC Bank is seeking a Group Tax Advisory Intern to gain practical exposure to tax compliance, governance, and advisory activities within a leading Singapore financial institution.

You will assist in corporate tax schedules, filings, and monthly tax close, while developing analytical, research, and communication skills. This role offers NPAP exposure, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
• Aptitude for taxation, finance, and financial services.
• Willingness to learn and accept feedback.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance Support: assist in preparation of corporate tax schedules, tax computations, and supporting documentation for tax compliance and reporting purposes.
• Tax Return Preparation: support collection and collation of documents required for tax filings (RPT forms, WHT documentation).
• Tax Reporting & Monthly Close: assist in monthly tax closing activities and analysis of current and deferred tax schedules.
• Process Documentation: help create and maintain process maps and operating procedures.
• Tax Research & Advisory: conduct research and draft responses to ad-hoc tax queries from stakeholders.
• NPAP: assist in initial review and documentation of tax considerations for new products.
• Data Analysis & Process Improvement: support automation opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on tax compliance, governance, and advisory projects.
