Job summary

A shipping company based in Jurong East is looking for an experienced accountant to handle and maintain a full set of accounts using EZ Accounting. The candidate must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the Shipping industry, preferably with S13A experience in setup and audit. The role includes preparing monthly reports, GST reporting, and assisting in tax computation and analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Shipping/Maritime industry.
• Experience with S13A setup, implementation, and audit is preferred.
• Must have full set accounting experience in the Shipping industry.

Responsibilities

• Handle and maintain full set of accounts using EZ Accounting system.
• Prepare Monthly closing reports.
• Prepare audit schedules and GST reporting.
• Assist in setting up processes for S13A implementation.
• Ensure transactions are posted to the correct revenue/cost centre.

• To assist in tax computation & analysis
• Assist in setting up the processes for S13A implementation
• Ensure transaction posted are for the correct revenue / cost centre
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Must have either S13A experience in setup, implementation & audit
• Full set accounting experience preferably from Shipping industry
• Independent worker, able to work in fast paced environment
