An international shipowner company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to oversee vessel operations and ensure compliance with maritime regulations. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in tanker vessel management and a strong technical background. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with tanker vessels is mandatory for tanker fleet assignments.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Technical Superintendent or at least 6 months as a Chief Engineer on board vessels.
• Experience in staff management, including appraisals and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, and major oil company requirements.
• Plan and monitor Class and Flag State surveys.
• Oversee vessel maintenance and repair activities.
• Manage the Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
• Plan and supervise drydocking activities.
• Monitor and analyse vessel performance.
