  • Build reusable ETL frameworks and ensure data quality, scalability, and security across pipelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Ensure Agile practices are followed within the team—participate in and lead sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Talend jobs in production environments.
  • Manage code reviews, performance tuning, and deployment processes.
To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Experience in leading at least two Agile projects using Scrum or equivalent methodologies.
  • Strong experience with ETL design patterns, data warehousing, and real-time/near real-time data processing.
  • Familiarity with GCC guidelines and secure data handling in government or regulated sectors.
  • Proficiency in Talend components (tMap, tJoin, tFile, tREST, etc.), XML/JSON, and SQL.
  • Certified in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate) or Talend (e.g., Talend Data Integration v7).
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and deployment (especially on AWS).
  • Experience with CI/CD for ETL jobs.
  • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, or MDM is a plus.
  • Experience working in DevOps/Agile hybrid environments.
