Job summary

TechAalto Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a seasoned T24 Developer (6–12 years) to design, develop, integrate and support Temenos T24 solutions for banking clients.

You will combine deep T24 core module expertise with strong Java skills, containerized deployment, and CI/CD, along with integration middleware like Apache Camel and event-driven messaging with Kafka. Qualifications

• 6–12 years of software development experience with Temenos T24 / Transact core modules.
• Expert-level Java skills (Java 8+), including multithreading and JVM tuning.
• Strong experience with Apache Camel for enterprise integration patterns and route development.
• Hands-on Kafka experience: designing producers/consumers, topic config, schema handling, and operations.
• Proven experience testing Kafka-based integrations using Embedded Kafka or similar frameworks.
• Proficient with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes deployments.
• Experience building Helm charts and managing Kubernetes deployments via Helm.
• Practical experience with IaC and YAML-based configuration for environments.
• Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong database experience (SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning) and familiarity with RDBMS and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with Confluence and Jira; strong documentation and ALM tooling.
• Good debugging and performance tuning skills in distributed systems; agile delivery mindset.
• Temenos certification(s) or deep experience in specific T24 modules is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and managed Kubernetes services.

Job Title: T24 Developer (6–12 years)

Role overview We’re seeking a seasoned T24 Developer with6–12 years’ experience to design, develop, integrate and support Temenos T24(Transact) solutions for banking clients. The ideal candidate combines deep T24core module expertise with strong Java development skills, modern containerizeddeployment experience, and a proven track record implementing CI/CD,integration middleware (Apache Camel) and event-driven messaging (Kafka). Youwill work closely with product owners, architects, QA and DevOps to deliverresilient, testable, and scalable core-banking features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enhancements, integrations and fixes within Temenos T24 (Transact) core modules.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into robust technical designs and detailed development tasks.
• Develop Java-based services, adapters and extensions for T24 integrations, using best-practice OOP and design patterns.
• Implement and maintain Apache Camel routes and integration components to connect T24 with internal and third-party systems.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar) for automated build, test and deployment of T24 services and integration components.
• Containerize T24-related services and integrations using Docker; manage deployments to Kubernetes using Helm charts.
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and YAML-based configuration management for environments and deployments.
• Integrate and work with relational and NoSQL databases as required by T24 modules; optimise queries and schema interactions.
• Work with Kafka for event-driven integration: produce/consume messages, design topics/partitions, ensure reliability and performance.
• Develop and execute integration tests; use Embedded Kafka for testing Kafka producers and consumers during integration testing.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain coding standards, write unit and integration tests, and ensure high code quality.
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to troubleshoot, monitor and support production issues.
• Contribute to technical documentation, runbooks and knowledge transfer sessions.

Must-have skills & experience

• 6–12 years of software development experience, with significant exposure to Temenos T24 / Transact (core modules).
• Expert-level Java skills (Java 8+), including multithreading, collections, JVM tuning and profiling basics.
• Strong experience with Apache Camel for enterprise integration patterns and route development.
• Hands-on Kafka experience: designing producers/consumers, topic configuration, schema handling, and operational knowledge.
• Proven experience testing Kafka-based integrations using Embedded Kafka (or similar frameworks).
• Proficient with containerization technologies (Docker) and Kubernetes deployments.
• Experience building Helm charts and managing Kubernetes deployments via Helm.
• Practical experience with IaC and YAML-based configuration (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation or similar) for environment provisioning and configuration.
• Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Strong database experience (SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning) and familiarity with at least one RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and optionally NoSQL stores.
• Familiarity with Confluence (documentation, knowledge base) and Jira or equivalent ALM tools.
• Good debugging, troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in distributed systems.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in agile delivery teams.

• Temenos certification(s) or deep experience in specific T24 modules (e.g., Retail Banking, Corporate, Deposits, Lending).
• Experience with Temenos integration frameworks (e.g., jBase, TAFJ, T24 batch frameworks) and T24 configuration.
• Familiarity with MFT, API gateways, or ESBs used in banking ecosystems.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and managed Kubernetes services (EKS/GKE/AKS).
• Knowledge of security, data privacy and compliance considerations in banking environments.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical delivery.
