Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites an entry-level DevOps Engineer to join a development team responsible for creating, testing, and deploying software applications within a public safety and security initiative.

You will work closely with a Solution Architect, Project Manager and Technical Lead, contributing to tool development, release automation and secure operations while learning from experienced engineers. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
• Proficient with Gitlab, Confluence, Ansible, Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Ruby or Python.
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying them to developers
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning projects and being involved in project management decisions

You will be a key technology partner to our customers in the Public Safety & Security sector to thrive on developing the next breakthrough for the security of Singapore. Working closely with the Solution Architect, Project Manager and Technical Lead, you will be part of a development team to develop, test and deploy software application as part of an overall project implementation.
