Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an engineer to research, design and develop networked sensor products through ideation, theoretical analysis, simulation, enclosure, PCB and antenna design, prototyping and optimization.

You will characterise, test and evaluate products, document findings, troubleshoot on the bench, participate in design reviews, and contribute to automated test equipment for high-volume production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in electrical/electronics/computer engineering.
• Hands-on with lab and automation test equipment and transceiver techs.
• Hands-on experience with microwave/RF design using EDA tools.
• Sensor/Radar signal processing on MCUs is a plus.
• Masters/PhD is a plus.
• Meticulous and willing to learn.

Job Scope:

• Research, design and develop networked sensor products through ideation, theoretical analysis, simulation, enclosure design, PCB design, antenna design, prototyping, experimentation and optimization.
• Characterise, test and evaluate networked sensor products systematically, and provide clear and logical reports and conclusions.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and tuning of sensor products.
• Participate in product design reviews and analysis.
• Design and development of product automatic test equipment for volume production.
• Documentation and product release for volume production.

Requirements:

• Bachelor / Master’s degree in electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with electronic, lab and automation test equipment, and transceiver technologies are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with any of the following is must:
• Microwave & RF design with EDA tools (i.e., Keysight Advanced Design Systems, Microwave Office, CST Microwave Studio, PSpice, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mentor Graphics PADs, Altium Designer, LabView) through realization and validation.Sensor / Radar signal processing and algorithm development on MCUs.
• Masters / Ph.D is a plus.
• Meticulous and willing to learn.
