Job summary

Teradyne in Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to develop system software for semiconductor test products, supporting the IG-XL and Eagle platforms. You will design, implement, test and debug code in C#, C++, .NET and COM/ATL, collaborate with Factory Applications, Release and Sustaining teams, and help ensure 64-bit compatibility across OS environments.

Qualifications

• BSCS/BSCE/BSEE or equivalent degree.
• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Experience in software that controls hardware products.
• Strong object-oriented design and data structures knowledge.
• Proficiency in C#, C++ and OOD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for complex systems.
• Knowledge of UML, Git and Agile practices is a plus.
• Experience with ATE or hardware knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test system software for IG-XL and Eagle platforms.
• Develop core services used by driver teams; ensure 64-bit compatibility.
• Translate requirements into designs and documentation; perform unit tests.
• Debug and resolve complex software and computing issues; collaborate with multiple teams.
