Systems Maintenance Technical Officer x8 (up to $3000 / East) VA

Respond promptly to ad-hoc system breakdowns and maintenance at remote sites, including supervising contractors during troubleshooting and repairs. Overnight stays (up to 4 nights) may be required at remote sites.

Serve as Duty Technical Officer (DTO) at assigned centers or sites according to shift schedules.

Review maintenance checklists, service reports and system performance records.

Assist in managing maintenance and term contracts, including planning, scheduling and monitoring expenditures.

Represent the company in site meetings, surveys and spot‑checks of maintenance works.

Coordinate maintenance activities with internal departments and external organisations.

Support procurement of spare parts, tools and equipment, including arranging contractors for works/services.

Maintain updated records of systems, failures and performance trends.

Description:

• Located at East
• 5 days work week, 8:30am – 6pm
• Up to $3000, with additional allowances

Main Duties:

• Respond promptly to ad-hoc system breakdowns and maintenance at remote sites, including supervising contractors during troubleshooting and repairs. Overnight stays (up to 4 nights) may be required at remote sites.
• Serve as Duty Technical Officer (DTO) at assigned centres or sites according to shift schedules.
• Review maintenance checklists, service reports and system performance records.
• Assist in managing maintenance and term contracts, including planning, scheduling and monitoring expenditures.
• Represent the company in site meetings, surveys and spot‑checks of maintenance works.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with internal departments and external organisations.
• Support procurement of spare parts, tools and equipment, including arranging contractors for works/services.

Other Responsibilities:

• Support system engineering tasks: feasibility studies, design review, proof‑of‑concept and life‑cycle analysis.
• Assist in project management, site supervision, installation, testing and commissioning of systems/equipment.
• Support system upgrades or replacements and ad‑hoc user requests (installation, relocation, re‑wiring, modifications).
• Be on 24/7 standby for urgent jobs, including weekends and public holidays, with response within 2 hours if activated.
• Maintain compliance documentation (e.g., cybersecurity, system availability).
• Perform other duties as assigned, in accordance with the Employment Act.
