Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design and deployment of IoT systems. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in engineering, and experience in IoT is preferred. Responsibilities

We are seeking a Systems Engineer (Smart Infrastructure & IoT) to support the design, integration, and deployment of IoT-enabled and automation-based systems across domains such as facility monitoring, weighbridge automation, and smart asset management.

System Implementation & Integration
  • Configure and integrate IoT devices, sensors, controllers, and gateways for smart facility or field systems.
  • Establish communication between edge devices and backend platforms via APIs, industrial protocols, or middleware.
  • Conduct functional and performance testing, including verification of data capture, communication reliability, and safety compliance.
Field Deployment & Commissioning
  • Support site installation, setup, and system bring-up for projects such as weighbridge kiosks, monitoring systems, or automated storage infrastructure.
  • Perform troubleshooting, calibration, and validation to ensure system readiness and acceptance.
  • Document configuration settings, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
Technical Coordination
  • Work closely with software, analytics, and project teams to align field devices with application requirements.
  • Interface with vendors and engineering partners to validate hardware specifications and SDK/API documentation.
Period
  • 1-year Contract (Renewable and convertible)
