Job summary

Technopals Pte.Ltd. in Singapore seeks a systems-focused DevOps/Platform Engineer to architect and operate a scalable microservices platform. You will build containerized services with Docker, orchestrate with Kubernetes, and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.

You will work with Elasticsearch, Kafka and other big data components, scripting in Python/Bash/PowerShell, and maintain Linux-based server environments in cloud or on‑prem setups.

Qualifications

• Experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Design, deploy, and maintain highly available and fault‑tolerant infrastructure for production environments.
• Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Elasticsearch, Kafka.
• Experience with data processing technologies such as Apache Flink, Spark.
• Basic knowledge of Linux-based OS to manage servers, deployments, and scripting.
• Python, Bash and PowerShell scripting for automation and server management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis in distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Microservices Architecture: Develop and manage microservices to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Containerization & Kubernetes: Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes.
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot GitLab CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
