Actelligent is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, build, integrate, and maintain robust infrastructure powering an AI-driven investment platform. You will ensure reliability, security, and scalability to support real-time insights and model deployment.

In this fintech environment, you will collaborate with AI/ML, data science, and product teams, implement automation, and drive continuous improvement across the system lifecycle.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or similar, ideally in fintech/AI environments.
• Familiarity with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and model-serving infra.
• Experience with cloud platforms and scripting/automation.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable systems and infrastructure.
• Integrate hardware, software, cloud services and data feeds to ensure end-to-end performance.
• Monitor health, performance and capacity; identify bottlenecks and improve reliability.
• Manage configuration, automation, backup, recovery and DR processes.
• Ensure security, compliance, and data integrity for financial data.
• Collaborate with AI/ML and data science teams to support model deployment.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis across the system lifecycle.
• Maintain architecture and operating procedure documentation.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and risk assessments.

Job Title

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to design, build, integrate, and maintain the robust technical infrastructure that powers our AI-driven investment platform. You will ensure our systems are reliable, scalable, secure, and high-performing so our differentiated AI models and data pipelines can deliver accurate, real-time insights. This is a hands-on role that blends systems thinking, infrastructure excellence, and collaboration with AI/data science and product teams in a fast-moving fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable systems and infrastructure that support our proprietary AI models, data pipelines, portfolio construction engines and website/ mobile app
• Integrate and optimize hardware, software, cloud services and third-party data feeds (market data, alternative data, etc.) to ensure seamless end-to-end performance
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity; proactively identify bottlenecks and implement improvements for reliability and efficiency
• Manage system configuration, automation, backup, recovery and disaster recovery processes
• Ensure high standards of security, compliance, and data integrity appropriate for a financial services platform handling sensitive investor and market data
• Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, software developers and product teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions and support model deployment and operations
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root-cause analysis and drive continuous improvement across the system lifecycle
• Maintain clear documentation of architectures, configurations, interfaces and operational procedures.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions, risk assessments, and technology evaluations as the platform scales

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or similar role, ideally in fintech, financial services, or AI/ML-driven environments
• Familiarity with containerization(Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, or model-serving infrastructure
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Linux/Windows systems administration, networking, and virtualisation
• Proven ability to design and manage complex integrated systems, including automation/scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
• Solid understanding of system monitoring, performance tuning, security best practices, and high-availability architectures
• Experience with data pipelines, API integrations or supporting AI/ML workloads is highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills, systems thinking mindset, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team
• Experience in financial services, investment platforms, or handling market/alternative data
