Job summary

A recruitment agency in technology is looking for a talented software engineer in Singapore to design and develop scalable web applications. The ideal candidate has strong programming skills in Java, experience with cloud technologies, and knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and MSSQL. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, support BAU/Ops activities, and deliver end-to-end solutions. If you have experience in the Finance domain and are familiar with DevOps practices, it's an advantage.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java (JDK 1.8+), Spring Boot, JSP, and Bootstrap
• Build and integrate backend services and APIs, ensuring performance and reliability
• Support BAU/Ops activities including monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across development and production environments
• Work with relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL)
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Integrate and troubleshoot middleware components such as Apache, JBoss, WebLogic, and WebSphere
• Document technical specifications, workflows, and operational procedures
• Participate in agile and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications
